How does Georgia Civil distinguish itself from the majority of the competition?

1. Georgia Civil’s services are guaranteed

This is not the most important consideration in our minds, but it may be one of the factors that distinguishes us most from other site design firms.  This is not a guarantee in name only, but is rather backed by a commitment that if our services do not meet the client’s expectations, then the decision to pay, and if so, how much, lies in the client’s hands.  

                   Here is how it works:  At the completion of a project or a project phase, we submit an 
                                               invoice to the project lead or client for payment.  Included in the 
                                               invoice is an area for client feedback.  We are constantly looking 
                                               to improve, and this is a tool to measure our current systems via
                                               constructive criticism and positive feedback from our clients.  If  
                                               for some reason, the client is not fully satisfied,he or she can use 
                                               the feedback area to explain the deficiency.  In addition, the Client
                                               reserves the right to pay what he or she feels the services were
                                               worth, and that includes paying nothing at all.                        

                                                    Why are we doing this you ask?

Because the industry norm must be challenged.  The breakdowns in communication and dissention between architects and engineers, design professionals and contractors, etc. must be challenged.  Poor service must be challenged.  Poor quality, the lack of respect for the environment, the lack of attention to aesthetics must be challenged.  Our guarantee exemplifies our commitment to challenging the industry norms.  If we do not succeed, then you do not pay.  Period.

      A. Responsiveness

  • The point of contact for all projects is a registered professional engineer or landscape architect depending on the project type.
  • We offer the latest in file sharing and design review tools to facilitate collaboration and quality control.
  • We will take special care to assist with urgent requests.

      B. Expertise

  • Our design team consists entirely of registered professionals with a minimum of 8 years experience.
  • We approach each project with a multi-disciplinary approach.  Civil Engineers and Landscape Architects collaborate on each project to balance aesthetics and functionality.
  • We provide a turnkey site design solution for Clients who desire these services.  We have established strong relationships with highly qualified surveyors, geotechnical and environmental specialists, as well as product vendors to provide a complete site design package.

  • We are steadfast in our commitment to providing the most accurate, coordinated, and detailed drawings in the industry, thus, reducing the chance of miscommunication between the design professional and the contractor and virtually eliminating change orders and project delays.
